When GTO Meets Exploitative Strategy
I have been working with the solver since its very first month of release. My background includes extensive experience with multiple solvers from other formats, which has contributed to my broad understanding of GTO and the game.
Many coaches tend to simply repeat the solver's output. While this approach might be effective in NL Holdem, a game of frequencies, in PLO, relying solely on memorization doesn't get you very far. Relying on solver output is akin to applying what you learned in school to real-life situations; just like in life, in poker, often there are more +EV ways to approach a situation. I rely on my deep understanding of GTO but also possess a very strong intuition and an exploitative mindset.
